IDF FSPL team consists of professionals from different backgrounds knit as a close family. Their academic and domain backgrounds range from Technical, Financial, Industry and Managerial to Social services. Bonding of like-minded people having common shared values, passion and complementary skill sets develops “Team IDF FSPL”.  

IDF FSPL is looking for people from diverse backgrounds with high levels of enthusiasm and intent to make a social impact. Skill Development

The new team members are inducted to imbibe the organizational culture and the career path through:

The trainings are both in house and by deputation to external programs. The team cohesion is built by annual get together, competitions and performance recognition.

Experience at Microfinance though preferred, is not a must. Freshers may also apply. For onsite activities, people with working knowledge of local language would be preferred.

IDF FSPL engages individuals as well as firms with domain expertise in areas of planning, finance, auditing, market research, team building and other allied sectors.

In addition to full time salaried employees, IDF FSPL deals with two types of Consultants:
  • Retainer consultants who provide services on a retainership basis – (Employed for longer time frames)
  • Associate Consultants who provide their professional time on the basis of need for a specific assignment  (Engaged on a need basis)

  • Financial auditing experience, preferably within a financial institution;
  • Working knowledge of financial planning, including budgeting and accounts projection;
  • Ability to prepare extern an internal financial statements;
  • Ability to detect and interpret patterns in financial data;
  • Ability to assess and improve financial systems and procedures;
  • Familiarity with accounting and auditing procedures generally;
  • Excellent spreadsheet analysis skills;
  • Attentiveness to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Supervisory experience and ability to be impartial;
  • Interest in helping the poor and marginal sectors of society;
  • Character of integrity and honesty;
  • Ability and willingness to identify frauds and forgeries;
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
Credit Officer

  • Responsible to manage the Community Organizers/Groups under his/ her area so that the Business Plan (BP) targets are achieved, particularly for Active Loan Clients, Loans Outstanding, Interest Income and Loan Portfolio Quality.
  • Shall undertake the appraisal of the loan proposals emanating from the SHGs in their area of operation.
  • Shall attend the cluster level meetings of all the clusters in their area of operation.
  • Identification of prospective women members in the area of operation.
  • Promotion of Groups among them.
  • Training of Group members.
  • Creating and maintaining strict Credit Discipline.
  • Setting a good example for the clients by coming to the weekly Centre Meeting on time, and conducting the meeting in a business-like way, according to the procedures laid down in the Operations Manual.
  • Carrying out a thorough check on the utilization of the loan funds within one week of disbursement, to ensure that they have been invested in the activity approved, and advising the Centre officials to monitor the subsequent use of the funds, so that there will be no difficulty with monthly repayment
  • Enforcing collective responsibility among Centre members for monthly repayment, which must be deposited at the branch by Centre officials.
  • Up-date of the CDS (or applicable report) as necessary, and circulation of the CDS for signature of the members attending.
  • Receiving loan proposals approved by the Centre
  • Shall handle all cash of the company, whether at the time of disbursement of loans or at the time of recovery and shall be accountable for the same.
